This page shows appointment times to book access to the Local History and Genealogy collections on the third floor at CLP-Main. Staff can provide basic reference assistance during appointments, but will not be able to provide in-depth personal assistance with specific research questions. CLP has one-on-one appointments available for this personalized in-depth help -- please inquire with staff about booking a session with one of our librarians.

At this time, appointments are generally available on Thursdays from 4-6 pm and Saturdays from 10am-noon.

During Library hours, you can get help booking your appointment by clicking the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh logo in the upper-left corner and using the Chat feature on our home page to ask for help.
